With easy access to romantic deserted coves and white sandy beaches, Cape Cornwall Club could be the wedding venue you’ve been waiting to discover. Whether you are planning an intimate wedding for a handful of loved ones, or a grand ceremony, we can take your ideas and create a bespoke wedding package, just for you.
Overlooking Cape Cornwall and a landscape of rugged cliffs scattered with archaeological sites, almost completely surrounded by the sparkling Atlantic Ocean, what better place to fall in love all over again? Offering the perfect blend of unpretentious Cornish hospitality and stunning seascapes, Cape Cornwall Club is a unique venue for unforgettable weddings. We are licensed to host civil ceremonies and have a selection of newly refurbished superior rooms set in rustic and tranquil converted farm houses for you to choose from. Pamper yourselves with our selection of spa offerings, including massage, hair and makeup, and relax in our spectacular indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi.
Our venue with a capacity for 100 guests (and upwards with a temporary structure) is delightfully decorated in gentle hues, lavish white curtains and a row of French windows leading out onto our large patio with spectacular sea views. With the added bonus of installing your own structure that offers protection against possible blustery winds or a scattering of showers, you can be sure we will provide every comfort and luxury for your special day.
We offer various packages from hog roasts and carveries, to full sit down à la carte menus and buffets. We also arrange Elopements, Hen Dos and Stag Parties!
We are fortunate to have Masterchef Peter Gorton in charge of our culinary team. Having won numerous awards including a Michelin Star, Peter sold ‘The Horn of Plenty’ in Devon, and now consults for us. Our team is driven by a passion for using the freshest of locally sourced, seasonal produce to create inventive, colourful and mouth-watering dishes. Our chefs source ingredients from nearby farms, selecting the freshest of local produce from locals such as Chypraze Farm and McFadden’s butcher and baker. We also support our local fishermen and are proud to offer the freshest catch of the day straight from their boats in Newlyn, as well as lobster and crab caught off our own cape by fisherman Steve Trageare.
Our spacious, recently refurbished rooms offer an air of calm and seclusion. Cape Cornwall Club is classified as a club rather than a hotel because all our ensuite bedrooms are located outside the main building, but are just as comfortable as any luxury hotel. Being converted from a thick-walled stone farmhouse barn, each room is a short meander from the busy hustle and bustle of the Club’s activities so that you are assured complete tranquility, with only the sounds of the sea birds, the crashing ocean and the wafting winds to interrupt your rest.
